Trend: New Florals

With the upcoming spring season, many stores have brought out a variation of the classic floral prints. It's more realistic -- like botanical illustrations. When I shop, I typically gravitate towards patterns and I have an affinity for these kinds of florals. Left - H&M; Middle - Sheike; Right - H&M Hopefully, I'll be able to snag myself one of these when the weather is warmer.

Random: Spring

Sydney's now in spring. The other day, I took a stroll around the neighbourhood with my sister and found some trees still blossoming.  Pink blossoms! White blossoms! Honestly, I'm not spring-ready, even though a whole month has almost passed. Spring and summer are my least favourite seasons, even if they have the most holidays (Christmas and New Year's) and also my birthday's in Spring. The pastels, the bright colours, the hay fever and the stinking hot weather - I've never really enjoyed it. I just hope that these flowers can help inspire me. I'm feeling up for a bohemian vibe.

Trend: Flower Accessories

In Australia, spring has already crept in and it's nearing summer. There is a reason why I love looking at accessory trends: they don't change as regularly as clothing. Headbands are still in. Feathers are are still there (with Melbourne Cup drifting in, there's no reason why you wouldn't see them) And now, there's flowers. I don't mean floral patterns on headbands or gold earrings in the shape of a flower but rather fake flowers chained up into one: the realistic look. Floral garlands have popped up in Sportsgirl, from simple designs to more elaborate ones. More hair accessories from Diva. I can imagine those garlands being worn at a concert or a nice casual day out but even I hesitate to try this trend.
